What we collect
- Free sample: your email address, the discipline you chose, whether you asked for study emails, the time, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to stop abuse.
- Purchases: Stripe processes the payment and tells us your email, what you bought and the order number. We never receive your card number.
How we use it
To send the sample or the files you bought, and, only if you ticked the box, up to 3 short study emails about the pack. Every study email has an unsubscribe link that works at once. We do not sell or share your email.
Where it is stored
Signups are stored in a Cloudflare database; email is sent through our mail provider from hello@engineerexamlab.com. Order records stay with Stripe.
Cookies and ads
These pages load Google's ad tag (Google Ads) so we can tell which ads lead to a sample signup or a purchase. It sets Google cookies. When you arrive from an ad we also store the ad click id and campaign tags (gclid, utm) in your browser and in our database under a random id that is passed to Stripe with your order, so the sale can be matched to the ad. When you sign up or buy, the tag sends Google a one-way hash of your email address (enhanced conversions) to match the conversion; Google does not receive the email itself from us. Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) applies to its tag. You can block these cookies in your browser or with an ad blocker; the site and the downloads still work.
